Heather Thomas Presents March Program, Workshop

Our March 27 program will feature Heather Thomas.
Thomas is a fiber artist, a quilter, an instructor, a writer, and a publisher. Her studio is in Denver, Colorado. Her lecturewill be about setting up our own, highly functional, creative work space. Whether you have a walk-in closet or a whole basement doesn’t matter, it’s what you do with the space that matters. Heather will talk about what she feels are the most important products/items you need to get down to work. She will share information on how to assemble a stash that you will actually use. She will talk about making a creative environment and how to get over creative slumps. She will tackle the concept of compulsive fabric buyers/hoarders and will provide some great storage solutions. With this lecture, Heather hopes to guide each listener toward choosing to live a more creative lifestyle. Includes a power point presentation as well as actual quilts and artwork.
