Gatling October Speaker at QUILT

Jim Gatling will be the speaker at the Oct. 23 meeting Quilters United in Learning Together.

A retired teacher now working parttime, Gatling’s presentation is entitled Today’s Quilts from Yesterday’s Designs – An Artist’s Approach.”

Gatling will also lead a workshop on Oct. 25 on his Insanity Quilt. Cost is $25 for QUILT members and $35 for nonmembers. To register contact Nora Krein at Knora@cox.net.

Linda Everhart is September Speaker

Linda Everhart will be the speaker at the Sept. 25 meeting.

Everhart considers herself a traditionalist who has developed shortcuts that result in all quilters being able to create intricate designs. Her program is entitled, “Don’t Sweat the Details.”
