Pat Anglin Cuddly Quilts for Kids Project & Workshops

Baby, oh Baby – A couple of times a year we have our Pat Anglin Cuddly Quilts for Kids Workshop. Members gather for the Guild’s big community project workshop. We spend the day making baby or youth quilts to give to children in crisis. Pat Anglin, in the mid 90s, saw the need to supply charitable organizations with baby quilts. The members of QUILT voted to sponsor the project and committed to devote time each year to making baby quilts. Several years later, after Pat’s death, the project was given her name to honor her commitment.  If you have ideas, or would like to get more involved with this project, please contact:

Stay tuned for the announcement of this year’s workday: date, time and location.

Quilts of Valor

“The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover ALL war wounded and injured service members and veterans from the War on Terror whether physical or psychological wounds with Wartime quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVS).  Or as a six year old put it, “When the ‘sholders’ are ‘warring’ and they come home and are hurt, the quilt makes them feel all comfy.”  This foundation is not about politics. It’s about people.”  www.qovf.org
