Fabric Coil Bowls: Taught by Roxanne Birchard. Demo of how to create bowls, baskets and about any vessel out of clothesline and fabric scraps. (I’ve had this class, and can I just say “Christmas presents!” Fun!)
Know Modern Quilting!: Taught by Elizabeth Ray. Multimedia presentation about the history and characteristics of modern quilts, including a trunk show of fabulous quilts. (Elizabeth is president of the local Modern Quilt Guild and a modern maven. I assure you, you will leave her workshop informed and inspired.)
Design Your Own Quilts: Taught by Paula Mariedaughter. Tips from a creative designer on how to design your own quilts using a portable design wall. (Paula’s work is amazing. What she puts together to make show-stopping quilts, well you won’t believe it. And you will be inspired.)
Textile Collage: Taught by Lila Rostenberg. Trunk show and demo of small, whimsical collages using bits and pieces of vintage textiles, crochet, lace and ephemera.
